- What are Low Stock items?
Low-stock items are items that are available in limited quantity (5 or less) as of our last stock update. Stock update is done at the end of every working day. Low-stock items might have become unavailable at the time of purchase because there is a time interval between our stock update and customers' time of purchase.
- What happen if I buy a Low Stock item?
If your Low Stock item is not available, we will notify you via email within 1 working day. You will then have the option of either cancelling the book (and get a full refund for that book) or you can wait until new stock arrives. Let's say if you purchase 3 books and one of them is a Low Stock item that is not available. You can only get a refund for that one book if you choose to cancel it. But not the other two. - My book is backordered. What does this mean?
A book's stock level is updated everyday around night time and it may change by the time you purchased that particular book. As such sometimes when you buy low-stock items (can happen to in-stock items but this is very rare), our system may notify you that that book is backordered. This means that the book has run out of stock and will not be delivered in 4-7 working days. - When will a Restocking item become In-stock?
A Restocking item may have an Estimated Delivery Date (EDD) shown on it's page. This date provides a rough indication on when you can expect to receive this book should you buy it now. However, not all books have EDD information available. For books without EDD, they will usually becomes In-stock within 2-4 weeks.
